It’s good to see that some still remember the shortcuts for Microsoft Office. I cut my teeth on Wordstar (that was before Microsoft) in the eighties and the shortcuts are still valid today.
It is sometimes painful to watch co-workers trying to get the mouse pointer on the right spot to select a field and then using the mouse to find the right drop down menu button when it could be so much faster, easier and more effective with the shortcuts!
I was just helping a colleague today creating graphs from Excel and finally stepped in and with a few strokes of the keyboard had it all in place. I know I shouldn’t and the colleague will need help again next time but most people these days just can’t see beyond the mouse.
Sorry to go on like that, but you touched on a subject that matters to me.
